The Community is a new initiative designed to give sound makers across the globe a platform to sell their samples. The idea is simple - each month we will be releasing one library created by a member of our community. For every library sold, the creator will receive a percentage of the sale, to help to support them on their musical journey.

MONSTA was created in collaboration with composer, Lester Barnes. To form this sample set, Lester used his studio collection of modular synths, one of the largest systems in Europe including vintage modern, rare and custom systems, and created one patch that linked all of the VCOs in the room. All 104 Modular VCOs were linked to separate channels and signal chains, each with its own mixers, gates, VCAs, filters, tracking and output to one of 20 layers into the audio interfaces around the room (Prism and Motu D-A into Logic ). Each of the 20 layers and 104 VCOs were triggered and recorded in real time with phase accurate timing of triggers so all aligned perfectly to the onset of the gates. Taking four days to patch and 30 minutes to fine-tune each semitone so just the right amount of drift and tune would be created around the room, it resulted in a mind bending two weeks of sampling!
